September - in review (part 1)

It's been quite some time since we updated the boys' blog so it's time to catch up on all the adventures we've been having in September.

Over Labor Day weekend we ventured to Wisconsin to visit our friends, The Maiers. Since they have 2 kids as well, we had a great time letting the kiddos play at an indoor play area. The older ones were all over the facility - painting, climbing, dressing up, doing puppets, etc. And, there was also an under 2 area for the little ones, keeping them confined and allowing the parents to relax and visit a bit. That evening, we enjoyed a campfire with smores and the dads and older kids spent the night in tents. It was pretty cool by morning so John and Jeremiah headed for the house a few feet away around 6 a.m. and promptly went back to sleep.

Even little Savannah "enjoyed" the play place.

On Sunday night we drove down to visit Grandma and Grandpa Todd. Jeremiah and Daddy helped get Great Grandma's house ready for her to return there and we all enjoyed some time just relaxing.

That Tuesday was a big day in our house!!! Jeremiah started preschool. His teacher is Ms. Banfield. His day starts in the "Centers" room and then he has an individual class with 8 kids. He goes on Tuesday and Thursdays from 9-11 a.m. He sits by Jayson and Kennedy. We are so appreciative that another mom of kids at our daycare is willing to drive him back and forth.
