The "fearless" one

Andrew's personality continues to develop each and every day. He has moments when he is a big bully and then we are shocked at the things at which he is scared.

Earlier this week, we received a concerned comment from the sitter that Andrew has been tackling the other kids. We do play rough with him so we have been more careful to soften our play and be more firm about correcting his rough behavior.

As tough as he can be, we have discovered that his achilles heal must be scary characters/animals. Here are a few examples:
1. He is not a fan of characters in costume, such as the Easter bunny.
2. He was recently hesitant to get on the bouncy animals at a park.
3. We have a stuffed cow, that moos. He was enjoying playing with it until John pushed the button to make it moo, resulting in Andrew shuddering in fear.
AND OUR FAVORITE....
4. Last night Andrew backed up very diligently and in fear when John offered to read him a book that featured an elephant with googly eyes. He was scared of a similar one with a tiger tonight but we did eventually sit for us to read it.
