Christmas preparation
We've had several weeks of Christmas preparations. The weekend before Thanksgiving, we started putting up a few decorations around the house, including our tree. Then, the boys received their own trees for their rooms for their birthdays from Grandma & Grandpa Todd. They got some ornaments and also moved a few of theirs from our family tree.
The first weekend in December, we welcomed Claire Kuipers for cookie decorating. This was also the day that Santa visited Fisher, so we took the three kids to see him. After decorating a few dozen cookies, they played and watched Christmas specials. That evening, the boys and Mom went to the Fisher Christmas parade, where they replenished their parade candy supply. Then, we grabbed dinner and then saw Wreck It Ralph. The boys were so good for the whole outing.
Andrew also made a trip to the mall for storytime with Mrs. Claus. He doesn't seem to have issues with her but is still a little untrusting of Santa. (You will note we didn't have a picture of him with Santa above!)![]() |

The first week in December brought Jeremiah's Christmas concert at school. The Kindergarteners did a blacklight dance to Mannheim Steamroller, sang Frosty the Snowman and did a rhyme with motions about building a snowman.
