Easter Celebrations

We enjoyed a weekend full of Easter activities. The Easter bunny hid some eggs early Saturday morning in Gibson City. Although there were reports of Andrew giving the mall Easter bunny a high five, he wouldn't even get close enough for a picture with the bunny. After gathering up baskets full of eggs, the boys enjoyed donuts and milk and a little play time at the park.

Jeremiah reported to soccer practice, and returned home about the same time Grandma and Grandpa Todd arrived. We all dyed eggs together after lunch and a little rest time.

The boys were up bright and early Easter morning to see what the bunny brought. Jeremiah announced to Andrew that the Easter bunny was here and Andrew started to break down in fear! We reassured him that the bunny was long gone and they were off to empty their baskets and begin to hunt down eggs. We all enjoyed breakfast together at church, the boys hunted for chocolate and then went to Easter service.

We had a special Easter meal, relaxed a bit  (the boys watched a new movie the bunny brought them) and then it was time for Grandma, Grandpa and Bailey to head back to their house.
