A little teeth situation

We've been wondering if Jeremiah would ever get a loose tooth. At nearly 7, he still has not had a visit from the tooth fairy. Last weekend, I noticed something a little odd in his mouth. He had 4 front teeth! His permanent teeth came in behind his baby teeth and those baby teeth don't look to have much intention of leaving anytime soon.

Our dentist tells us that his tongue can push the new teeth forward but those baby teeth have to get out of the way. The clock is ticking. He has 3 weeks to wiggle those baby teeth loose and then we'll be calling in the oral surgeon.
