Christmas prep

Between multiple Christmas programs, shopping and wrapping, we threw in a handful of fun for our kiddos this Christmas season. We put our tree up the weekend before Thanksgiving so that it was in place when we returned from Thanksgiving travel. Levi LOVED helping with the ornaments and took ornaments off on more than one occasion. Then, he would say "uh oh"!

Jeremiah and Andrew had their small trees again this year, as well.

Jeremiah's school program was held early in the month. The older two were in the church Sunday school program - Andrew as a sheep and Jeremiah as Joseph and a reader. Levi and Andrew had a program at daycare. Andrew hit a triple with yet another program at preschool.

We loaded up on a Saturday night to look at light near and far, including the musical light display in Paxton. The older boys were helpful with several rounds of cookies and Levi ate his fair share of dough while we were cutting out sugar cookies.

We hosted the Kuipers and Rademakers for a nice Sunday lunch and cookie decorating the weekend before Christmas.

We also managed to catch Santa at the local bank! For this first time, Andrew was willing to sit with him and have a little visit.

This is HUGE for Andrew! (He was still a little hesitant when we first walked in.)
