Catching up - Jeremiah

On more than one occasion in the past few week, Mommy has made a list of things she needs to blog about but then we got busy living more of summer. So, here are a few highlights.

Jeremiah played his first year of Rookie baseball with Daddy as a coach. This meant handling striking out or getting out on base. He also suited up in the catchers gear a few times this season. Grandma and Grandpa Todd made the trip down to be here for the annual Pig Out tournament, and Aunt Sandra and Uncle Roger also stopped in for some of the game.

He officially lost his first tooth. The first four went at one time during oral surgery so this one becoming loose was a new adventure. Mommy eventually tied some dental floss around it and gave it a yank. Daddy had threatened to use the needle nose pliers.

Jeremiah has been spending his days with a high school sitter, Tabby. They have been to the library, painted a bowling pin to show at the fair, swam, went to the park, and more. He also did two weeks of swim lessons and a week of service bible school.

Each year, the Fisher Fair hosts kids games, including a running race. Jeremiah made it obviously that he was VERY motivated to win that race and, indeed, he did. He also had a nice showing in some of the other games, and won 4th place in his weight group for the Kiddie Tractor Pull.
