Legoland

We took a very quick trip nearby for the first weekend of Jeremiah's spring break. Aunt Carrie gave the boys Legoland passes for Christmas so we headed up to Schaumburg to meet her for an outing.

The boys always love a hotel stay and this was no different! After a little Red Robin (mostly for Daddy's satisfaction), we got settled at our hotel so we could venture out early Saturday morning to the Lego Discovery Center. The adventure started with a lego replica of Chicago landmarks, a jungle area, tribute to Star Wars and then a ride, where Andrew and Jeremiah LOVED shooting targets. Daddy's gun didn't work and Mommy found that amusing until she got the same spot on a return trip to the ride!

Jeremiah and Andrew spent time in a Master Builders session learning to build a top, and then watched a 4-D movie. They also built with legos and played in a small playard area.

Upon return to the hotel, rest was in order (and some NCAA tournament basketball viewing). Then, we made a trip to the pool for Levi's very first swim.

Sunday brought the opportunity to meet all the Todd clan for brunch. This had the dual purpose of giving Jeremiah to Grandma and Grandpa Todd for a few days.
