That little red face

I said I wouldn't blog about things like this but it is a sign that Jeremiah has DEFINITELY changed our lives....

We were just about ready to leave the house this morning. I was putting the last things in Jeremiah's bag and John was putting his shoes on. Then, I looked at the little man and his face was as red as an apple. He had been quiet for a while and....you guessed it.....he had decided to fill his pants! He seems to have impeccable timing with this but at least John and I chuckled at his little red face. We definitely know when he is doing it now!

In other news, Jeremiah attended a wedding for the first time this weekend. Papa and Grandma S. came to watch him so John and I could help with the wedding and then they took him for the evening while we enjoyed the reception. They took him to a friend's house and out to eat. They claim that he was very well behaved the whole time. Then, he pulled a late nighter on them! Grandma finally gave up and just put him in his crib around 10 p.m. (You should also hear Grandma tell a funny story about him filling his pants for her!)

We all napped together on Sunday morning. John was in his chair and Jeremiah and I cashed out on the couch. We battled with him for a bit on Sunday afternoon as he is becoming more stubborn about taking a nap.

He continues to be an active little bugger. In addition to scooting backwards on his back, he has been rolling to his tummy alot and trying to figure out how to get his legs to move him. I'm nervous that he may figure this out sooner than we thought. He is grabbing for so many things - including the cat, his rubber ducky in the bath tub, Mommy's hair, the spoon during feedings and just about any toy you offer him. Most of these items are put in his mouth if they reach.
