Baby it's cold outside!

We've been quite busy at our house and that means that we don't get to the computer. We're sorry that it has been a while since we gave an update. Last week John was in Springfield for business for three days so Jeremiah and I held down the fort. He was so well behaved but by Thursday he was ready for his daddy to come home. He was real quiet on Wednesday night and Thursday morning. He knew something had been out of sorts.

His arms and legs are constantly moving but he has not quite mastered putting all the movement together to roll over yet. Grandma Schnitzler has been "practicing" with him during her recent weekend visits. You can see in the picture what a great job he does of holding his head up during tummy time.

Jeremiah's weeks are never short of adventures at the babysitters and last week he got to go to school to watch the babysitter's daughter Rachel do a school program. He must be relatively well behaved for the babysitter to be willing to take him.

John and I both had to usher at church on Sunday so one of our great church friends, Carol, watched him during church. They drew quite the crowd after church and he was so good for her. He was actually very good all weekend at church because we also had a Faith Stepping Stone class for new parents on Saturday and he was perfectly behaved for all four hours of it.

Today the daycare was closed because Shelly had several doctors' appointments so John stayed home to have an all guys day. That was probably for the best as the windchill was nearly 20 below when I left for work this morning. It was so much easier to not have to take him out.
