MMM...that's good
You may be wondering what this busy guy has been up to. Most recently, he's been eating cat treat. Last night we spilled some of the cat treats when he was giving them to Ally and he helped to clean them up by eating some of them. Strange that he wasn't interested in the tuna we offered soon after that for dinner. You would think they tasted the same. : )
He has been a busy boy with very physical and active play. However, he seems to balance this with wanting to read books often throughout the day. I may have to buy some more books just for my own sanity. I can only read the same ones so many times in one day. His active play has earned some discipline recently because he wants to run on the couches. We allow him to stand on them to look out the front window and he enjoys waving at the cars, or no one at all. He also continues to involve the cat in his active play, as displayed by his scratched up hands.
Excuse me, I'm reading here!
Some unseasonably warm weather last weekend allowed us to take a walk. It was a nice refresher for us all and I think he really enjoyed being back in his stroller outside.
He enjoyed having Grandma S. watch him on Friday afternoon and he may have gotten away with a few things that don't fly with mom and dad. She was impressed by his snack time routine. He requests crackers or other items from the pantry, then moves on to request a bowl and partakes of said snack after we put it on the coffee table, where it remains until he is done and takes the empty bowl to the sink. She specifically remarked at him taking the bowl back to the sink, after which she told me that we're going to have a rude awakening when we get a pistol for a second child someday. This short interaction was a good preparation for them both because they will be spending a week together when his parents take off for a trip in early April.
More soon...we promise.
