The 2-year stats

Jeremiah and I have had a great week together, although he may differ his opinion regarding a few events. He got a flu shot on Friday at his 2-year check-up and had to have blood drawn for labs yesterday. (They are checking his iron levels to determine if he could go off his supplement.)
Our guy is keeping up with his average peers on weight and height. He was around the 50th percentile in both of those and, once again, clocked in with a 90th percentile nogin. His weight was 28 lbs. 3 oz. and he was 34 3/4 inches tall. Time for a new seat!

I took him to have his 2-year pictures taken too. That was an aerobic workout on my part but we got a few good shots. Here is a sample.
In other news, he's been surprising us with some new talents. On Friday, I told him we would go to the bank to deposit the money from his duck bank and that the people would count it. His response was counting to 15, unprompted and unassisted. We had no idea he could do that!!
During our drive to town yesterday, we were singing and he made some requests and then announced that it was his turn and he sang his best rendition of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star!" Wow, he's developing so quickly!
Happy Thanksgiving all! We're headed north for Thanksgiving with both families and a birthday celebration on Friday.
