The Weekend

We had a very full weekend! During the day Friday, Jeremiah went up-town with the sitter to watch the school Halloween parade. He also wore his costume. Then, that evening, we dressed him up and went trick-or-treating. He wasn't real sure about what we were doing but after that first lady dropped candy in his bucket, he was on-board, even saying "trick or treat" and "thank you" when prompted.

We did discover, however, that he is deathly scared of people in masks. He was shaking with fear when John's former boss came to the door in a mask.
On Saturday, we ran him hard and then he crashed even harder. We all went to the football game, which was a 2:30 p.m. kickoff. That's right in the middle of nap time, but he was a trooper, staying awake and being somewhat well-behaved for most of the game. He fell asleep on the way to the car and I couldn't wake him up last evening. He went without dinner, a nap, or even being changed out of his clothes. I did take off his pants, but he slept right through that. He woke up at 5:30 this morning - which in old time, that would be about his normal time to wake up. 11.5 hours of sleep.

Today, we went to Owen's baptism and then he announced that he was going to "Owen's house". He played with some of Owen's toys and gave Maggie & Josh a preview of how active their house will become.
