Let the good (and busy) times ROLL...

We enjoyed a visit from Claire and Krista K last weekend. Unfortunately the weather wasn't very agreeable with our plans for playing outside and going to the park. However, we did enjoy a trip to the indoor pool on Saturday. Claire is walking but Jeremiah had big expectations on what he could do with her. We had to explain that Hide and Seek really wasn't an option but he quickly adapted to playing Peek-a-boo instead. I'm sure they will be playing Hide and Seek together soon enough. It was a swimming weekend for Jeremiah, as the church had a youth swim party at the pool on Sunday. On Monday morning, Jeremiah asked if he could go swimming that evening, again.

Two weekends ago, we crossed the river, enjoyed some pizza with Stef at Manny's and then went to church in Derinda. Jeremiah thought Stef was quite fun, even requesting to go with her to get drinks, and Andrew snuggled her too.

Jeremiah has been busy with some of his own activities. He started soccer this week. He was asking all day long if it was time to go to soccer. He had fun, but we need to work on the idea of not picking up the ball. He's also been going to a dance class on Sunday evenings. It's fun for him and there are a few other boys in the class. He also continues to enjoy going to story time at the library. With the nice weather, he wants to be outside nearly every evening and on the weekends. He has been riding his bike, playing baseball and soccer, and is looking forward to opening up the sandbox soon.

Andrew has big news!!! He rolled over this week. Although we thought he might go from back to tummy first, he rolled from tummy to back on Tuesday evening. He's also been busy spinning himself around to get to things. He also scoots backwards on his head. His newest discovery is that his lips can buzz. It's a fine line between lip buzzing and spitting, which will need to stop when there is food involved, but is cute for now!
