Easter

We had a busy Easter weekend that started with Mommy taking the day off with the boys. One of the first things out of Jeremiah's mouth on Friday morning was an instruction to get packing. He knows that needs to happen for us to go visit Grandma and Grandpa. When Daddy left for work, he told Jeremiah to be a good helper. This translated to Jeremiah as instructions to pack his own bag. He carefully chose some games, books, a stuffed animal, and his moose slippers to include in his tiger bag. There was apparently no need for clothes or toiletries.

After pancakes (3 large ones for Jeremiah), we made Rice Krispie Treat eggs. Jeremiah helped and especially like putting the sprinkles on them.
That afternoon, we headed for Grandma and Grandpa Todd's house. After a great dinner, Jeremiah colored eggs with help from Grandpa and Daddy. Great Grandma Z supervised. It took him under 45 minutes to color 5 dozen eggs! Andrew fell asleep and missed most of this activity.
Saturday took us to Winslow to see the Easter bunny and gather some goodies at the egg hunt. Karl and his mommy also joined in the fun. Andrew hung out in the car with Grandpa and Great G-ma because it was windy and a bit cold. The Easter bunny made a stop at G&G Todd's house and hid some eggs in the back yard. Their squirrels were apparently excited about the eggs because a few eggs came up empty and some had bite marks on them.

After dinner, we headed over to G&G Schnitzler's house to spend the night. Sunday brought breakfast at church after we checked out Easter baskets and found some eggs that the bunny hid around the house.

Andrew passed out during church and Jeremiah shared with the congregation that he would have to help Andrew eat his chocolate bunny because Andrew has no teeth!

Jeremiah enjoyed time playing with his cousins, including another egg hunt. One of Mommy's friends came for a visit at G&G Schnitzler's house and then it was time to head back. We arrived back home in time to have a light supper and call it a night to begin another busy week.
