Fathers' Day Fun

Our Father's day weekend brought many types of fun activities with Dad. We had a campfire on Friday night. Jeremiah enjoyed catching some lightning bugs and Andrew liked snuggling by the fire.

Saturday brought some fishing and a picnic at a local park on Saturday. The boys also enjoyed playing on the playground. Later that evening, we took in a baseball game in Normal. Daddy got tickets to the college suite, which was a nice place to watch the game. There was a bounce house and some other fun activities at the game. Andrew was scared of both the bounce house, which was shaped as a big creature, AND the Cornbelters mascot. He kept his eye on the big furry guy from a distance and completely freaked out when he came close.

We enjoyed church on Sunday and then treated Daddy to biscuits and gravy for brunch. That afternoon we brought out Jeremiah's new water gun and all got in on the fun, partially in hopes of helping Andrew drop a bit of his fear of the water gun and the sprinkler. We're still working on this!
