Spring break fun!

The boys spring break was a tour of several locations and different adventures.

Because Shelly was off for spring break, the boys started their week with another great caregiver, Aunt Sandra. Since the weather was wonderful, they spent much of Sunday afternoon and evening playing outside. On Monday evening, they cheered on Sophia at a soccer game! Andrew was especially fond of uncle Roger and Aunt Sandra's big bath tub!

Mom took Andrew, Jeremiah, Isabella and Emma to grandma and grandpa Schnitzler's farm on Wednesday. After a quick lunch, we all chipped in to do some farm clean-up. The boys enjoyed riding on the mule as part of our projects. On thursday, we tried an string egg Easter craft that Grandma said she did when she was a little girl. Then, we went to Galena for some fun. The boys, Emma and grandma went to a great park in Galena, while Isabella and mom enjoyed shopping. After lunch with games and ice cream at Happy Joe's, we went to Grant's home for a bit of education. The boys favorite part was a display of presidential pets. After some fun and relaxation on Friday, the boys spent the evening with Grandma and Grandpa Todd while Mommy and Daddy went to cousin Kyle's high school performance of Oklahoma. The boys helped take the dog for a walk and played in the yard.

They hunted for easter eggs in Grandma and Grandpa Todd's yard and loved getting fun gifts in their baskets. They received bubble guns and spent more of the afternoon blowing through bottles of bubbles.

On Sunday, we met the Byrd family for fun at the John Deere pavilion. Both boys loved climbing on the equipment, playing with toys and hanging with the Byrds. Then, it was time for us all to head back our normal routines.
