The summer of an 8 year old

After our trip to Disney, Jeremiah's June continued to be busy. Bible school was one week, followed by two weeks of swim lessons. He advanced to level 3, swimming underwater. He played baseball two nights a week. Uncle Matt, Grandma Schnitzler, and Grandma and Grandpa Todd all made trips to see him play baseball. June also included a trip to the drive-in to see Inside Out. Jeremiah took his friend Nick with to the movie.

Jeremiah and his sitter Rachel filled their days with bike rides, swimming, crafts, preparing his Cloverbud project and board games.

While at the lake over the 4th of July, Jeremiah learned to kayak. This became a daily activity, along with swimming, tubing, trips to the sand bar, and fishing. Other highlights of July were showing his wild dogs poster for Cloverbuds, collecting food at the Fisher fair for his 4-H club, a trip to Brookfield Zoo, a day at Noah's Ark with Aunt Carrie and time spent with grandparents and cousins.

He started his first year of Fisher Fire football on August 3 and seems to love it. He also participated in a one night camp at Little Galilee Christian camp in Clinton.
