The latest and greatest

Here's a very quick update and I'll to post more this week.

• Jeremiah has become quite the little news junkie. He will sit and watch the entire 6 p.m. newscast. It's a great way for us to get a chance to cook dinner.
• He spent much of the past week battling an ear infection, but we hope he's over the hump. The doctor wanted us to continue once per day breathing treatments. I hope this doesn't have to be forever.
• Last weekend we took him for his third haircut. He does so good in the chair, as long as the snacks keep coming. Now, he looks like a handsome boy again. Pictures to come soon.
• Last week was an interesting one regarding his parenting dynamics. I was out of town for 2 days and then John was on an overnight trip. It's always interesting to how his interactions vary when one of us is gone. He is especially not enthused when he has to be put in his crib while we shower when no one else is home. He does OK but there is usually at least one toy that gets thrown overboard. We're glad that we don't travel more for work.
• We continue to work on a bit of sign language. He has his own little way of signing "more" and we're trying to teach "please" and "thank you". However, we've also noticed a few more varied noises coming from his mouth too.
