So much fun!

Jeremiah had quite the busy weekend! On Friday night, we ventured to G&G Todd's to spend some time with them and Aunt Carrie, who was visiting from Seattle. After a quick dinner, Jeremiah convinced Carrie to play baseball with him in the backyard. The highlight was him pitching to her. She managed to hit his wild pitch...right in to his face! We were all worried that he was hurt and she was moving towards him to check on him when he yelled out, "RUN!" What was she waiting for? Get running! After the fun in the backyard (wearing jackets on July 17), he partook of an ice cream bar. He's quickly learning whom to direct his ice cream requests towards.

Saturday brought much activity, including taking in the heifer show at the Elizbeth Fair. He was a pretty good boy and we all enjoyed watching his cousins show their cows. At the conclusion, he had a few minutes to become familiar with Donnie M's goats. We think he thought they were kind of neat but I don't think goats are in our future! Then, we took in the parade. Aunt Carrie joined us for the fun! He's still not a fan of sirens. After a quick lunch, he made an attempt at the kiddie tractor pull. He didn't do real great (7 inches with the help of the organizers) but was totally thrilled with the button he received for his effort! Then, it was back to the steer show for a few minutes. After all this action, he headed out with Mama for a bit to take in some play time and a nap to prep himself for more evening fun.

The evening activities included watching the tractor pull, featuring Uncle Boot's AC and Uncle Larry's John Deere. He also had a chance to putt putt golf, which he was asking to do all day. In general, he enjoyed hanging out with Karl. We let them do 2 rides together. They rode a train and jumped to their hearts content at the bounce house. It turned out to be a pretty late night but he was a pretty good boy!

Sunday was low key. Karl and Jeremiah were well behaved in church. Then, we had a nice lunch and just relaxed at Mama and Papa's before heading back to Tipton.
