New Sitter

A new year and a new routine was Jeremiah's theme last week when he started at a new sitters. He seems to be enjoy himself and has learned some sign language while there. Yesterday he came home proud to display that he is learning to do a somersault. They have regular exercise routine and we think this was likely part of it yesterday. He's only been going three days a week but will start full time when Andrew joins him there.

Andrew's highlight this week is that he rolled from his tummy to back. Although this was during his tummy time and I had helped get his arms right under him. He is getting stronger and doing a good job of holding his head up while on his tummy. However, it's still not his favorite activity. He is babbling more, carrying on regular conversations with us, and seeming to get in a routine that involves a short and longer nap in the morning as well as a long and shorter nap in the afternoon.

Last weekend, the boys and I went to Elizabeth. Mommy officially left both boys for an extended amount of time while I went out to lunch with a friend. Grandma S., Aunt Karen, Devin and Kelley took good care of them. Then, we ventured out to a high school basketball game to watch cousins Logan and Cody play ball. We thought we might just stay for one game but stuck it out for the whole evening! Jeremiah enjoyed himself and always appreciates an opportunity to eat popcorn. Andrew snuggled with various people and didn't mind the noise, except for the timer buzzer.
