Big Boy Activities

Jeremiah is becoming a big boy in so many ways. First, we are now finding his activities on our calendar more often. He continues to enjoy soccer. He's pretty fast and, on more than one occasion, has illustrated that he is willing to sacrifice his body for the game. Jeremiah is the one with the red mittens on in the pictures below.

He had his first dance performance last weekend and was featured in one performance as a lip syncher with one of the other boys. We have no photos of this because I was busy taking video.

His friend interactions are also showing us that he's getting older. About a week ago, he opened the door of the bathroom while I was blow drying my hair to share, "Mom, after I get home from Jodi's today, I want to have my friend Eli over." He's certainly becoming a big boy when he is asking to have friends over.

Becoming a big boy also comes with more challenges of remembering that he is a BOY! He randomly decided to jump on Jodi's couch and another chair last week. This was quite uncharacteristic for him and it landed him a timeout at Jodi's. However, it might be a reminder that he is a boy.
