Scootin' and Gardenin'

Andrew has started scootin' pretty well the past few weeks. We're going to call May 10 the official scooting date.

Last weekend we made a day trip over to G & G Todd's house. Jeremiah had a great time helping them in their yard and garden, as well as playing hide and seek with Grandpa in the yard. He helped plant both seeds and plants and loved it. Later in the week he was sharing with me that he "HATED" the little brown helicopters in the yard, and quickly added that Grandma "HATES" those things. I think Grandma hates them in her garden and gutters. Jeremiah also convinced Grandpa, Daddy and Mommy to play a game of Uno Moo with him.

Andrew played with Grandpa on the floor and spent some time snuggling on the swing with Grandma.

Later that evening, we celebrated Karl and Kyle's birthday at their house. Andrew showed Aunt Karen how quick he is with his hands by grabbing a bowl of olives while she was looking the other way. After seeing that Kyle got pumpkin pie as his birthday cake, Jeremiah has made a request that he wants pie as his birthday. And his Aunt Leisa said she would be willing to treat him to that. This mommy is not a big pie baker. We slipped the kids in to their jammies and drove back late that night so Jeremiah could go to the last Sunday School session for the year.
