Weekend Fun!

We started the weekend a little early by celebrating cousin Sophia's 8th grade graduation in Manteno. The boys enjoyed staying with Aunt Sandra while I worked on Thursday and we all relaxed a bit with Sandra and Sophia before we headed home Friday afternoon.

While we were in Manteno, Jeremiah requested smorses. That put Daddy on a mission to get some firewood. In addition to enjoying a campfire, Jeremiah and Daddy slept in a tent in the backyard. Jeremiah slept all night and just might be ready for a full-fledge camping trip.

The next day we planted some flowers. We miss our garden but we all wanted to enjoy a little gardening in pots this year. The whole time we were planting, Jeremiah was waiting to do the watering. He also "helped" wash cars later in the day and played in the sprinkler with the neighbor girls.

After all that hard work, naps were in order!

On Sunday, Jeremiah's dance group did a performance at a local Memorial Day celebration. Grandma and Grandpa Todd made the drive out to see him employ his moves. We all enjoyed lunch together at the celebration. In the picture above, he is holding his microphone for his lip synch to the chipmunks. Below he is dancing with his lollipop to "I want candy".
