Birthday Up North

Our traditional celebration of the boys' birthdays with family normally happens at Thanksgiving time. However, this year, we'll be spending Thanksgiving with Mickey Mouse. So, we celebrated in mid-October. G&G Todd opened their home to all of the guests. Beautiful weather outside allowed for lots of ball playing by big and little kids.

The boys received some wonderful gifts, including clothes, farm toys, books, money for their college accounts, a blow-up tackle dummy, a big bounce-on ball, cars and more! Jeremiah received a VERY special gift. Grandma and Grandpa S. give their grandsons precision toy tractors for the fifth birthdays. It is a replica of the first tractor they ever owned.

Aunt Carrie was able to skype in from Boston.

Jeremiah has become a fan of carrot cake so that was the choice for the birthday cake. After all this mid-day fun, it was time to get back in the truck to head south.

Side note - we all got a chuckle out of Ann & Tim's dog taking a seat with Grandma Z.
