Took them out to the ballgame

On Saturday we made our way towards St. Louis to visit our very special friends, The Gannings. In addition to being excited to just see them, we were excited to go to a Cardinals' baseball game!

We rode the Metro to the game, which was an exciting first for both Jeremiah and Andrew.

It was Andrew's first major league game, as well as the boys' friend Elliot's first game. The boys did very well until about the bottom of the 8th inning. They ate a plethora of foods, and we're glad to have taken much of it with us to the game. Andrew LOVED clapping and dancing to the songs. Jeremiah was quite the stat guy keeping track of balls, strikes and outs on the scoreboard! Jeremiah stayed in Elliot's room and the two of them had a case of the giggles before going to sleep!We all enjoyed some time at a neighborhood park on Sunday morning, followed by lunch at a fun local diner. The boys took matchbox cars to the park and had a fabulous time sending them flying down the slides. It was clear to the parents that all three boys were in need of naps after lunch so it was time for us to pack up.
We were so glad to have spent this special time with our friends and allow them to get to know our boys even better!
