Quick trip to State Fair

Jeremiah and mommy made a quick trip to the Illinois State Fair on Friday. He played games at the dairy building, explored the livestock barns, watched the Charolais show, and enjoyed Conservation World.

He took a bizarre interest in the hog barn, even asking to watch the show. Unfortunately, we needed to get back to pick up Andrew, as we left him behind for the day.

His commentary for the Charolais show was interesting, as he wanted to know to know the names of the heifers. He was particularly perturbed that the person leading a heifer named "Belle" was a BOY!

He joined his friend Claire to explore Conservation World for a couple hours. They played games, looked at animals and generally kept their moms on their toes.
