Happy Halloween & Birthday!

Halloween was full of fun at our house! Jeremiah dressed as Buzz Lightyear, by request. Andrew made great use of a special hat from Aunt Carrie in Boston by dressing as a lobster. THANKS to both Grandmas for their advice and help with his claws. Both guys did a great job trick-or-treating. An hour was plenty of time to get their buckets filled. The birthday lobster was also good about leaving his hat on.

Daddy carved pumpkins on Sunday evening with careful supervision by the boys. They helped pull out guts. Daddy thought it would be fun to have pumpkins that matched the boys expressions. Andrew has been making a goofy fact in which he pulls at the sides of his mouth. This was the inspiration for this pumpkin.

Mommy picked up pumpkin cake pops from a bake sale at work. They were a good stand-in for Andrew's birthday cake following a pancake dinner. Pancakes are one of his favorites!

Andrew then enjoyed opening gifts from Mom and Dad and Jeremiah. The big excitement was a basketball hoop. He didn't want to come back inside after he saw it.
