Fear the bunny!
Some people may know that the high school mascot in our hometown are the bunnies. Fear the bunnies may be jokingly heard throughout our town. However, it brought new meaning for Andrew this past weekend.
It was no surprise to us that Andrew didn't want to get too close to the Easter bunny. But, his fear of the bunny was exhibited even further this Easter. During bath time on Saturday evening, Daddy shared with Andrew that he had seen a bunny in the back yard and that maybe he was a friend of the Easter Bunny. We went on to say a few more things and quickly realized that a look of fear was coming over his face. For the next 15 minutes he was terrified that the bunny was coming for him!
On Easter morning when Jeremiah told him the Easter Bunny had been to our house, he started to cry again. It was Mom and Dad to the rescue again as we declared that the bunny was gone but that he had left some special treats.
