Hello July!
Whew! It's July and we are feeling every bit of summer at the Todd house! There are numerous entries in draft mode for this blog highlighting the activities of the last few months. They may or may not see live action in the future.
In the mean time, here's an entry to cover the most recent activities in the boys' lives.
Last weekend, we all enjoyed a night at the drive-in in Gibson City watching Madagascar 3. Andrew was quite shocked to turn around at one point to realize that there was a movie on the other screen too. He spent much of the movie declaring, "Oh my gawsh!' Aunt Carrie came for a visit on Saturday, which meant time in the pool, playing games and a trip to the park. This also gave mom and dad the chance for a date night.
The boys and dad held down the fort for the week while mom was in Las Vegas for work. Jeremiah played his last two t-ball games of the season. He had a great season with dad as one of his coaches. He looks forward to playing again next year.
This weekend we spent Saturday with the Mitchells to celebrate Mikey's third birthday. The boys loved playing with the other kids on the swingset and in the water. They were both pretty wiped out from the heat and activity.
We made our way to our pool yesterday afternoon and the enjoyed an evening walk after dinner.
Andrew has been exhibiting some clingy behavior but we are hoping a stretch of days spent together this week will relieve some of that.
