To Kindergarten He Did Go....

With confidence and a smile, Andrew headed off to his first day of Kindergarten! Mrs. Sparks is his teacher. (This actually happens to be her last year teaching.)

After some obligatory pictures at home, Mommy and Daddy took Jeremiah and Andrew to school. At Fisher the first day of school starts with an all-school assembly. Andrew was greeted with a big hug from Mrs. Sparks. After the assembly, the kids posed for a class picture and were then discussed to their room. Andrew had little interest in holding our hands and our goodbyes were relatively quick.

When asked about his first day, he explained that he learned about warnings. We thought he was referring to behavioral warnings, but he corrected us that it was fire, tornado and "bad guy" warnings. It was an interesting highlight for the first day.

He was willing to go back the next day so we considered the first day a success.
