It's a....

Cardinals fan! During game 7 of the NLCS on Thursday we confirmed that we indeed have a Cardinals fan on the way. I was in bed for the night and left the game on, which was my first mistake. I was not falling asleep, peeking an eye open every few moments to see what was happening. As the game became more exciting with Yadier Molina's homerun, the baby was a busy thing. I succumbed to my inability to sleep, got out of bed and finished watching the game with John in the living room. The baby was all over the place as the Cardinals clinched the game and punched their ticket to the World Series. John informed the baby that he/she would be born in a year that the Cardinals go to the World Series. Now, I figure labor is bound to happen during a game and my mother has given John permission to pay attention to the game, rather than me. Ha! We're now considering Yadi, Albert and Alberta as middle names. Just kidding!

Our weekly appointment was yesterday and there is no new progress to report. I have people telling me I've dropped again but I can't really tell. I figure if I've waited this long now, I wouldn't mind waiting to try to get a chance at the new rooms at the hospital. (Perhaps that's my only solace right now.)

10 days and counting.
