Have baby - will travel!
Yes, I know I stink at updating this blog but hopefully I can start to get in to a regular pattern with this now. John turned in a HUGE project yesterday and also went back to work so we are no longer sharing one computer during the day. Although Jeremiah's blog is extremely important, his school work was even more important the past couple of weeks.
Jeremiah is currently down for a nap so here's a few things to update you on.
Jeremiah is a great traveler! He did very well with the ride home for Thanksgiving, requiring only one stop on the way there and one on the way back - for food, of course. Family loved spending time with him. John and I actually kind of missed holding him because there were so many willing arms. We wish we were closer to be able to share more often but we're eagerly anticipating Christmas with them all.
Our after Thanksgiving treat was taking him for a walk on Sunday afternoon. Who would have ever fathomed it being warm enough to walk our November baby is a stroller four days after Thanksgiving? I took pictures but they will have to come later because they are on the 35 mm. He also made his first trip to the mall. Maggie, a family friend, was gracious enough to help me go to a dentist appointment and then we embarked on some Christmas shopping. Jeremiah did great!
He's doing pretty good at sleeping at night too. Sometimes he can be a bit fussy to go down at night but we're working on that. He tends to sleep between 3 and 4 hours between feedings, which I'm very happy with.
The opinions continue to roll in that he looks like his dad. On Saturday evening, John's mom unearthed some baby photos and indeed Jeremiah looks like his daddy.
We're enjoying every minute of already watching him change and develop. I'm already amazed at how he is filling out and becoming more aware of things around him.
Here's a snapshot I took of him today in his seat. Sorry it isn't the best. Our digital isn't great. However, if you have pictures of him, please send them our way and I'll put them up.
