We survived!

Jeremiah went to the babysitter's for the first time today. It's no surprise to anyone that I cried as I drove away and it wasn't even a full day away from him. In his first day, he got to go on an outing with the other kids to the mall. They play on the indoor playground and got to be held and watched. He took a three hour nap and only drank one bottle. That makes me think he did know that things weren't quite the same. I think he is already winning over the babysitter as he arrived there with one of his classic grins on his face.

I missed him enough that I was ready for him to wake from his nap and we spent nearly an hour playing. He has become quite the fan of funny faces. Here's a shot of the reaction I seem to get on a regular basis.

We're hoping to enjoy more time just being together the next few days because next week he has to get shots and then it is back to work for this mommy.....tear.
