On the move!
Sorry for making you wait so long for an update on Jeremiah's little life, but the wait has been worth it for this big news! He's mobile!
He started "crawling" this weekend. He isn't completely up on his knees but he really gets around. He's already started teaching us what we don't have ready for a mobile baby. He taught his dad that the phone charger cord and computer power cord need to be out of reach. He is also a big fan of the cat's scratching box. This progress to crawling happened fast, as he was not doing anything close to this when we were visiting family on Memorial Day weekend. On Tuesday he started pushing up on this toes and hands and then on Friday he was pushing forward in a nose-dive movement. By Saturday he was doing a b-line for things he wanted to get to.
Now, for an update on what the last couple of weeks have involved. (sorry, this gets long) Jeremiah had a great weekend visiting grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins over Memorial Day. He had some special time with his great-grandmas. They were impressed at how much he rolled and he was quite attracted to great-grandma Z's shoes. He took a special nap on Sunday snuggled up with uncle Rod and enjoyed eating his first taste of asparagus, fresh from Grandma Schnitzler's asparagus patch. He actually really seemed to like it.
Our week didn't involve too much excitement. Jeremiah played with Krista on Thursday while I went to class and his dad had a meeting. He really likes when they have a "date". On Saturday, he played with Matt R. and Missy while I took pictures of their girls. On Sunday we went to visit aunt Sandra and Uncle Roger, before the girls leave for Costa Rica. He played with the girls and snuggled with Aunt Sandra. He thinks the girls are hilarious and really liked rolling a ball with them.
Just a special note to everyone reading. Thanks for keeping up on the little man's happenings. We love you all!
