Darn teeth
Jeremiah's weekend wasn't so hot, because he's getting molars. He screamed through a large portion of Saturday night, finally finding rest on my chest in the Lazy Boy around 3 a.m. We know he wasn't feeling good when he didn't eat French toast on Sunday morning. He's always up for morning carbs. His little bottom was so red on Saturday night that he started crying in the bath tub. Poor thing. I should have known he was off when he was willing to sit in the chair with me for nearly 45 minutes watching the Illinois basketball game on Saturday.
However, he was back in the appetite column tonight, gobbling down chicken, broccoli, rice, applesauce and TWO cookies. His nose doesn't seem to be running as much either, so we're hoping he'll sleep like a champ tonight.
Now to do a bit of catching up. Last weekend, we went to a party at Krista & Trever's on Saturday night. We couldn't believe Jeremiah was still going strong when we left at close to 10 p.m. However, we weren't 5 miles down the road when he crashed.
The time change has helped him sleep a little later in the mornings, much to his father's delight. Now, he wakes up around 7:15, instead of 6:15 or 6:30. However, we were all running behind last Monday because he didn't have us up and moving. Interestingly, when I was by myself with him on Saturday, he didn't sleep in. He was up and at 'em at 6:30. ironic....
He enjoyed a few warm days last week. They brought the chance to go for walks and play in the yard. He and Daddy enjoyed playing ball in the yard on Thursday night while I was in class and Friday before I came home from work.
He's been too funny with his new pastime of "resting". He likes to lay on a pillow on the floor or couch and be covered with a blanket. It's pretty cute and he started this on his own last Sunday. Perhaps he observes us lounging in a similar manner. He did give a yell when he would want a new book handed to him so John just kept the books coming. He "relaxed" quite often this weekend and in the evenings too.
Wow! That was alot of catch up. This mommy is finished with class for a while so hopefully we'll get back to regular updates. We're headed north this weekend to enjoy Easter with family. Let's hope the bunny is good to Jeremiah. He's been enjoying taking the plastic eggs out of his Easter basket so we'll be intrigued to see how he does with the real ones.

He likes his cookies! Thanks Grandma!

I love the "resting", and wish I had time to do more of it myself. I have a similar Illini fleece blanket I use for "resting" too.
