July = HOT! and Fairs

The rest of July can be summarized as HOT! In between 100+ heat index days, the sitter has taken Jeremiah and Andrew to the local pool. Andrew has become much more comfortable in the water. Jeremiah has been practicing swimming between Shelly and her girls.

A few weeks ago, we ventured off to the Fisher Fair. Both boys loved climbing on farm equipment and throwing balls to play "I dood it". Jeremiah experienced numerous rides and Andrew joined him for a few. Jeremiah rode a ferris wheel for the first time with his Daddy! Andrew loved the carrousel.

The next weekend, Jeremiah had his first experience in the show ring at the Elizabeth Fair. There will be a separate post to commemorate this. The boys hung out with their cousins, taking in the parade, playing mini golf and helping in the barn.

Jeremiah is getting quite good at riding his bike. In fact, we have had to give him a lecture about slowing down so we can still see him when he are walking behind him. Perhaps it is time to ride with him, rather than walk. Our walk quickly turns in to a run.

Andrew's vocabulary continues to expand. He says most people's names, including Meema at the top of his lungs! He calls most little girls Emma. He knows quite a few animal noises and most of his body parts.
