Delinquent updates

A few bullets to bring you up to date on the latest and greatest in Jeremiah's world.

• On the weekend of July 19, we all went to the Wisconsin Dells with our friends the Keyes and the Maiers. Sydney (19 months) and Jeremiah had a blast climbing on the stairs. Sydney is much better at the coming down part but it was good practice for Jeremiah. All the playing must have made him tired because he went down just great each night.
• That following Monday we decided it was time to call the doctor about this crummy cough and runny nose business. The doctor saw no ear issues and he didn't have a fever but there was definitely something he was trying to cough up. The doctor diagnosed this as sinusitis and prescribed some orange sherbet flavored amoxicillin. It made a HUGE difference in a few short days and he is back to his old self!
• Uncle Matt arrived on Thursday night to spend a few days hanging out with Jeremiah and John. He watched Jeremiah while John and I went out for dinner by ourselves. It was great.
• The boys survived by themselves for a few days while I went to Chicago. This was our first time separated over night but I think it was good for both of us. He didn't seem to care much and I enjoyed a little bit of freedom.
• Tooth number 2 is in place and we think he is working on more. I've started using a starter toothbrush that Aunt Judy, a dental hygentist, gave us as a shower gift.
• He has been babbling so much and, of course, it comes out "dadadada", much to John's delight!
• His crawl has advanced to movement that actually involves his knees. The swim movement seems to be a thing of the past.

That's about all for now but I think that catches us up. We'll try to post some new pics this weekend.
