It's Nice to have you back...
It was birthday time last weekend for Miss Claire K! We can hardly believe she is already 1. The boys had a great time hanging with their little friend, and her parents too. We took in all the birthday fun on Saturday and then enjoyed some down time with the Kuipers and Rademakers. Andrew took in a little snooze on Ryan's lap on Sunday morning and Jeremiah played with Claire. It's going to be interesting to see him adjust to Andrew getting more active, because it was a little hard for him to realize that he had to share the same toys with Claire, especially since they were hers.
In addition to my return home, Jeremiah and Andrew are adjusting to their sitter feeling better. Apparently, Jodi was in a bit of a fog (she had help with the kids) for several days. In his oh-so-honest way, Jeremiah looked at her on Friday and said, "It's nice to have you back, Jodi." She got a kick out of it.
Andrew feels the need to keep up the progress on the mobility front! He pulled himself up on the dishwasher on Thursday and followed up by pulling up on the couch on Friday. This morning, Jeremiah informed me that he helped Andrew get up to the couch because he was trying to sit there. I quickly explained to him that he wants to get up but doesn't know how to get down safely. It's nice to know his big brother was trying to help!
