Our weekend was filled with all the festitivies related to Uncle Matt and Aunt Caitlin's wedding! As we look back on the weekend, we realize that it was one big party for Andrew and Jeremiah. Friday was filled with travel to St. Charles, getting settled in our hotel room, a much-delayed (due to the boys will power) nap, and then rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. (This was the first party!)They both hit up a few people for money to play a toy crane game. We capped the night off with a swim in the hotel pool.

The boys hung with dad and grandpa T while mom went to get pretty for the wedding on Saturday. Then, grandpa was their chaufeur to the wedding, where Grandma & Grandpa S. came in to the picture for getting them dressed and keeping track of them. They were both well behaved for the first round of pictures. Luckily the church also has a preschool so it was well stocked with entertainment between pictures and the actual wedding.

| Aunt Ann and Andrew |
We thought Andrew was going to be a fail for a few minutes as mom prepared to go down the aisle, but Grandma S. averted the crisis and both boys were adorable coming down the aisle together. After a few opening comments, the boys took a seat with G&G Todd, where Andrew proceeded to catch a nap! They did manage to wake him up to walk back down the aisle by himself. However, this did make him a bit cranky for some pictures so we captured a few moments for posterity! The good news is that he straightened out and the bride, groom and photographer were gracious enough to let us try the Todd family picture one more time! Hopefully Grandma got her Christmas card picture!

The boys got a new chaufuer (Grandma S.) since Mom and Dad were on the party bus. I don't think they minded because the destination was the BIG PARTY! The circled the head table a few times during dinner, made new friends and ate parts of their chicken and fries WITH applesauce!
The music was quick to follow! Jeremiah loved that his new aunt and her dad danced to a song from Beauty and the Beast, and that the cake topper was also Beauty and the Beast. Jeremiah took a liking to the 10-year-old flower girl! He has several pictures with her, as well as many others, from the photobooth. His one let down of the evening was missing a chance at the photobooth with Matt and Caitlin but we remedied this with a quick snapshot!

Andrew LOVED the dancing. He was a jumping fool! I'm anxious to see how many pictures the photographer got of him!
When they had finally tired out for the night, we changed them in to pjs, they said a few goodbyes and headed back to the hotel with G&G Schnitzler. We found all 4 of them in a king size bed when we arrived.
Andrew woke up asking if he could swim in uncle Matt's pool. The rest of the weekend seemed to be about uncle Matt so why not the pool? Grandma S. was gracious enough to take them down to the hotel pool while Mom and Dad packed. Then, we were off to brunch, which was yet another party in Andrew's eyes! They LOVE breakfast food so they were happy to chow down. This was back at the location of the rehearsal dinner so they were again hitting people up for money to play the game. Aunt Carrie and Grandpa fell to the pressure this time, after aunt ann was the easy target on Friday night! We gave many hugs and headed back towards home. Andrew fell asleep soon after leaving and woke up about 20 minutes from home. He questioned where we were going, to which we answered "home". He started crying and telling us that he wanted to go back to the party! He was not happy with our explanation that the party was over and everyone went home. He didn't even want to get out of the car when we got home!

The boys and mom took a quick swim around 5 p.m. while dad rested and then we all tried to take it easy this evening. It's back to normal for us and that could be a rough adjustment after all the activity of the past week!
