Lion, and tigers and dinosaurs. Oh My!
With the days of summer becoming few, we took a long weekend to Indianapolis for a small family vacation. We headed out on Friday morning to visit the Indianapolis Zoo. Our first stop was the tiger. She was busy sleeping but we stopped back later in the day because she was supposed to come see the trainers and get a treat. The boys learned that if a tiger doesn't do what she is supposed to, she doesn't get her treat! Andrew reminds us of this in relation to himself.

On Saturday we spent 6 hours at the Indianapolis childrens' Museum. In addition to the great exhibits, we watched a play and saw a show at the planetarium. Highlights included a transformer and a Hot Wheels exhibit. We all loved the dinosaurs too!
We didn't have specific plans for Sunday but realized that the Indiana State Fair was going on while we were there so we checked it out. Jeremiah participated in a few boy scout activities, including a small ropes course. He got harnessed it and had to wear a helmet. We watched the llama show, learned about Italy and so much more! Andrew was enamored with the opera singer at the Italy exhibit. He made us sit to listen to her. After all that fun we all needed some rest, but dinner brought more excitement. We made our first ever trip to. Chucky cheese. The boys ate well and we all had a great time playing games.
