Light switches and Baby Sunday
A few highlights of the past week have been Jeremiah's first trip to the Drive-in, where he slept through the Simpson's movie, participating in his first annual baby Sunday at church, and getting his room reorganized. Allow us to elaborate.
We decided to try the drive-in idea on Friday night. We fed him dinner and then put him in his car seat, in clothes that were pajama worthy. By the time we made it to the drive-in (less than 15 minutes) he was asleep in his seat. He slept through the whole movie. When we got home John moved him to his bed and he slept until the next morning.
On Saturday, we woke to a clicking noise coming from Jeremiah's room. He has discovered the light switch. Lights on, lights off, lights on, lights off. He was so proud of himself! We rearranged his room on Saturday to get him on the other side of the room from the light switch.
He participated in the second annual baby Sunday at church. There was a processional, featuring those 3 and under and their families, as well as a special blessing. A church member, who is also the photo editor of the local newspaper took pictures of the kids.

Here are also a few pictures that have been promised from previous posts. This is Jeremiah with his Leiny box on vacation.
And this is Jeremiah sporting his shades. Believe it or not, he does actually wear these and leave them on his face.

Excellent taste in beer J-man! You really can't go wrong with a Leiny HoneyWeiss, it is one of my favs. In about 20 years we have beer drinking date, ok? Also loving the shades and the fact that whoever is holding him (guessing Uncle Matt, but I really have no clue) has his mouth wide open just like Jeremiah. Not sure who is the bigger ham here. Oh, and the light swtich thing... priceless.
