A dog says "woof woof"

Jeremiah's newest trick is saying animal noises. So far the list of animals that he makes animal noises that, at least, resemble the right noise are dog, cat, cow, sheep, squirrel (don't ask), and lion. We're working on monkey and duck. While we walk he now points out EVERY dog along the way.

He's also been doing a great job of identifying who Mommy is, who Daddy is, and pointing to himself when you ask where's Jeremiah? This is in addition to knowing where his nose, ears, eyes, etc. are at. Mommy also thinks that it is especially cute that he says "tiss" as he comes towards me after hugging and kissing daddy goodbye in the morning.

On Saturday, he stayed with Brenda and Mike, a co-worker of John and her husband, while Mom and Dad went to card club. When we dropped him off, we allowed time for him to warm up but it didn't take long. He LOVED their big screen TV and they took him swimming at their house. Then, he shared chocolate ice cream with them. YUM! I think he'll be ready for another visit there, but maybe we'll try to have them put him to sleep this time. We told them not to worry about it but thought he would fall asleep eventually. He was still awake when we picked him up at 10:45.

Our outdoor fun continues, thanks for beautiful weather. John and Jeremiah have been in the backyard when I've arrived home every night this week. The monster appetite continues, as well. The babysitter reports that he ate nearly an entire McDonald's hamburger yesterday. She thinks she may have to buy him his own meal soon. Yikes!
