Feeling better and eating like it!

We woke last Tuesday to Jeremiah not feeling well. He had thrown-up in his crib and was crying. Daddy stayed home with him and he slept much of the day. However, he never threw up again. He was lethargic on Wednesday and then the other end started on Thursday. He got sick again on Thursday night so we called the nurse. They predicted that it was just a virus. He seemed to finally be getting back to normal on Saturday, just in time to go visit Aunt Sandra, Uncle Roger and his cousins.

R & S had a wedding to attend so we stayed with the girls. Jeremiah loved playing in their back yard. Luckily we avoided some very bad weather that went through the area. Jeremiah enjoyed Isabella doing many action songs with him while we waited out a lightning delay at Sophia's soccer game. He has a new affinity to "Ten Little Monkeys". He giggled with delight while she sang to him. On Sunday, he helped pick strawberries from Roger's garden. Then, we brought home a new slide cube from their house. He's been busy using the slide in his own backyard. Pictures soon.

This week has been pretty good and we've appreciated that no rain has allowed us to take him to the park, play in the yard, and go for walks. After his little sickness, his appetite is back with a vengeance. He's like a bottomless pit, eating 2 servings of pasta last night, 1/2 pear, green beans, a piece of Texas toast and then 2 fig newtons before bed. Apparently he's growing and feeling MUCH better.

This morning he found a flashlight in our bedroom that we had out because of recent bad weather. He has now discovered, with a little help from Dad, that Ally chases the light and that is funny because Mom and Dad laugh. The cat is about to lose her mind because Jer just shakes it with little understanding of where the light is shining, and then giggles.
