New battle scars
On Thursday, Jeremiah decided that he was missing the lovely staff at the Carle ER! Therefore, he pulled our Chief statue over on top of himself resulting in a pretty good laceration to his head and a huge bump. Because we were most concerned about the bump, we headed for the ER, where they glued the laceration shut and sent us home. This is up in his hairline so likely won't show. However, he does continue to remind us that he is an ACTIVE child!
Over the weekend, we headed north for the Elizabeth Fair and catching up with family and friends. Jeremiah has warmed up to the cows - much to my delight! He let a dairy cow across the fence get in his face, even touching her nose and he was excited to pet cousin Kelley's show cattle.
He also enjoyed another parade, but it was much more fun to go with Mama and Papa and some of his cousins. He also taught us that he is working on his acrobatic skills, escaping once from Mama's pack and play. Yikes!
We spent Sunday with Grandma & Grandpa T. Great Grandma came for breakfast to get her fill too. He played ball in the yard, picked up sticks, pulled weeds in Grandma's garden, and played on the neighbor's playground equipment. Grandma and Mommy also walked him over to the town park, where he played for nearly an hour. Here he is "driving" a school bus at the park.
