These shoes were made for walking...
And that's just what he's doing! He's still no pro but he spends almost as much time upright as he does crawling. His walking is in groups of 4-5 steps followed by a tumble and crawl.
Last week was pretty standard around here, but we had a fun, relaxing weekend. Friday night we went to dinner at Amy & Ryan's house, where Jeremiah showed Amy everything that needed to be on a higher shelf. Then, he was mesmerized with a campfire. He drank his bottle and then curled up on my shoulder and went to sleep - no nuk, no rocking, just plain tired and relaxed. On Saturday Jeremiah and I hit some garage sales for fall clothes and then the Carter's store to get him some pants. Now, this week he hasn't worn any of the said new clothes because it's been in the upper 80s again. We also went to the Stride Rite store to get him fitted for shoes. It turns out his head isn't the only thing that's big. The shoes we bought are 5.5 wide. Just a week before I was trying to put him in a 3 - no wonder they were so awful to get on him. Oops!
The news from this week is that we think he is trying to eat the sitter out of house and home. We think perhaps he is going through a growth spurt and/or dealing with more teeth joining the 4 he already has. We're headed to see the grandparents this weekend. We think they are going to be very surprised at home much he is moving.
