Levi is 3!

At three, Levi is our little guy. He weighs 30 lbs. (35th percentile)  and is 2'12" tall (15th percentile). He makes up for his small stature with his determined and stubborn attitude.

He has taken a recent liking to an old Care Bear of mom's and is calling it "sister". He's doing a great job using the potty. His favorite movies and shows are Minions, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Little Einsteins, The Good Dinosaur, and an old copy of Bear and the Big Blue House. Favorite books include an animal Alphabet book, Curious George, Peppa Pig and Blue Hat, Green Hat.

He still loves to play outside, including bubbles with the neighbor Leona. He also rides his tricycle, plays ball and likes to water the garden or plants.

He continues to learn new things and loves to sing songs. He recently learned the months of the year song and the Pledge of Allegiance. He can also be heard singing "Superman got nothin' on me" (part of One Call Away) after listening to music with his brothers.

Spring Break up north!

Jeremiah and Andrew headed north for spring break. Grandma Schnitzler and Devin were with us for a 4-H responsibility so Jeremiah and Andrew were able to ride north with them.
The first stop was G&G Todd's. Weather was still a little cold, but their fun included a movie with Grandpa, several meals and ice cream out, the Rockford Discovery museum, and Grant's home. Jeremiah also cooked with Grandma Todd for his 4-H cooking project.
They also spent a few days with G&G Schnitzler, including time with cousins, chore time and the annual 4-H workshop. Jeremiah made a good start on his 4-H citizenship project. They both did fun experiments and projects at the 4-H workshop and were talking about it for days. Andrew received a messy lesson in outrunning an aggravated cow and provided his cousins and aunt with a few laughs in the process.
G&G Todd returned them just in time for some Easter fun the following weekend.

Clara Ann's Baptism

Sunday, February 22 was Clara Ann's baptism. Mommy and Daddy were some of Clara's sponsors.  After the baptism, we had a party for Clara at the church.
We enjoyed dinner at Portillo's and swimming with the Todd family at the hotel on Saturday night.
Kinsley doesn't look too impressed with Jeremiah.

Skiing 2016

Aunt Carrie treated Jeremiah and Andrew to a ski outing for their Christmas gift. We have a knack for picking the coldest days of the year to hit the slopes, but we all braved it. Cousin Karl also joined us for the day.
Andrew had a great lesson with one of mom's high school classmates. He was quite confident on the slopes at the top but we couldn't get him to take the plunge to do Old Main. Jeremiah on the other hand, has become pretty confident on maneuvering Old Main.
After over 6 hours on the slopes, we went back to G&G Schnitzler's house for dinner and rest. A snowstorm kept us at their house the next day, but luckily aunt Carrie beat the snow back to Iowa.
